Upcycle Pizza Box

Hello creative buddies !

Pizza Hut take away boxes are one of my favorite materials to use as canvases and shadow box frames.

 

Today, I have used ring-pulls to design a heart shape on a pizza box. I love playing with texture and these ring pulls add a unique texture to the project.  I have used a gold matt spray paint finish to subdue the rings.

The process was longer than expected but the end result was well-worth it.

* I did not have to go scavenging for ring pulls since I already collect them and have a huge pile of ring pulls and lids so they come in handy, for such projects.

How did you find this project ?

I continue to share projects that can inspire my friends and readers with ways to reuse/recycle/repurpose/upcycle household items.

Every decision starts with a very small but firm, first step. I hope you embrace the idea of recycling or repurposing this year.
