Proud of You 2.

This card has only one theme in mind, to show how much you value that someone has tried or someone IS trying his best. Its really all about achievments in small or large doses or atleast getting there.

It could be from a mom to a daughter or vice versa, again from daughter to dad, or between friends, collegues or relatives. Its not only about achievements like graduation or a job promotion but also really realizing that some one has been there supporting you and you wish to tell them just THAT ; that your proud of them 🙂

Ofcourse I am back to my comfort zone of Pink with a large punch of red. The image as well as the sentiment are digi stamps and arent they just super cute 🙂  !! I have border punched both the outside edge and the inside too. Blue, pink and Red are predominently the colors here on this card except for what the senorita is wearing.  I have realized I have been coloring most of the girl hair images in orange. Is there something wrong with me or do I have a fetish for orange on girl heads 😉 I suppose its better that blue or even worse yellow … actually I think, I’ll try yellow in my next image 🙂

The large die cut flower is so gorgeous. It is handmade paper and if you notice closely in the slide, you will observe how glittery this paper is.  A red button in the center and two pink and white flowers on either side. A red ribbon, and three glittery brads and voila we have a very happy girl/guy receiving this card.

    No One Like You.

When I began with the concept of this card, it was really supposed to be something for a friend, perhaps could be used for valentines or just a special reminder to a good friend, neighbour, classmate … but turns out, it could also stand for a mother/daughter card too.

The elephant image is digital stamp and Ohhhh I just love those two cuties, arent they adorable ??  Ofcourse the pattern papers are from my new “guilt trip” buys. There’s some lace sticker, a cutie tag and a few fabric flowers with buttons over them. Doesnt green and pink, just appeal to the eye ? I found them so attractive but not ideal for the male cards. I made a deliberate effort at placing a black and white ribbon dividing the background papers. Just wanted to experiment the look !

This card enters several challenges which I have mentioned just after the picture slideshow.

My card is one, I have been wanting to do for a very long time. I feel in all honesty, I have tried to keep the look and ‘feel’ of this card very ‘formal and male oriented’ Dont you agree?

Please leave your feed back about this card.
