Lilac wishes.

This card is my first attempt at the backfold card. I really had fun working and letting my creativity play havoc with paper. The lace ribbon with that tiny line of gold is the first of its kind that I am using and if you notice closely, it has exactly the colors of the pattern paper. Three sparkling butterflies, 3 glittering green brads, a tag with a plaid ribbon, for leaving your personal message and a block with a simple sentiment digi stamp which could be given for a birthday, moving jobs, promotion, etc. The flower pot is also a digi stamp sitting on 3 scallop ovals.  This card was all about fun fun and more fun. It is such a super cool and easy project.

Oh and BTW, I saw Grown Ups today. Nothing like an adam sandler movie to cheer you up 🙂  I wonder if any of you’ll have seen  Zohan ? Also an Adam sandler movie. One thing I could identify with in Grown Ups was how our newer generation of kids have been so tube-oholic !! DH wonders why his boys are not out in the playground instead prefer to remain in their study room, no not studying, but glued to their computer screens, playing their boyish games or its the playstation or its some cartoons !! But its almost never being outdoors !  What can I say, I take half the blame here, Have not been a great role model, what can I expect from these poor ones ; I too am tapping the keys of my laptop most hours of the day 😦   Its not like they never cycle or go out to the park, but its just not how it used to be in hubby’s childhood. I’m sure we’re all wrong somewhere here. Anyway, just a thought .. any thoughts at your end ?

Ok, here’s the card :
