I love DIY Crafts – but I love crafts which recyle, upcycle and repurpose household items – more !
Today, we’re sharing 3 ways to recycle the humble bottle caps. The video carries a small tutorial to give you the basics of how to design these three crafts.

As a dollhouse lover, I immediately thought your hats were for dolls! I use bottle caps for plant pots, lamp shades, waste baskets. Embellished with gold fancy braid and painted, they make elegant plant pots which would be great for air plants or fridge magnets! My kids (now 36 and 38) knew better than to throw out a tootpaste cap!
Kathy, I love constructing for doll houses too. TIny houses and tiny furniture brings me immense joy. Although I wanted to wear the hats as a broach, eventually I just made them fridge magnets. I’d love to see some of your mini plant pots.
Okay, Naush, you got me! Now I am going to start saving bottle caps to do some crafty things with the kids! These all look so fun and kid friendly, too. Thanks for sharing and linking up!
🙂 oh Shelbee !! I am so happy that you might try these out. The whole reason I started my blog was to inspire friends to try out these easy crafts – hence almost all of my projects have tutorials. I am really hoping your kids like these super easy bottle cap crafts too. You’ve put me in the mood to upload more kids crafts:)
Oh who fun – love how you use the bottle caps, especially the hat and the pumpkins. Thanks for entering over at The House that Stamps Built this month.
These are all very cute and creative!! The chinese lanterns are super cute, but I have to say that the hats are my favorite!! They would be really fun as a hair accessory! Thanks for linking up with The House That Stamps Built.
